How do I prepare the surface?

Installation & Care

Before any bonding, the surface should be clean, dry, smooth and free of dust, grease, silicone, wax or loose coatings. Thorough cleaning is essential to ensure that the film adheres reliably.
Use suitable cleaners for cleaning and make sure that no residue remains on the surface. After cleaning, the surface should be completely dry. For sensitive, painted, textured or freshly painted surfaces, we recommend a test application in an inconspicuous area.
